Gloria Kurz

Gloria Kurz, the firm's founder and principal, has 24 years of real estate experience. She began her career in Greenwich, Connecticut and is a licensed real estate broker in both Rhode Island and Connecticut . She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, the Newport County Board of Realtors and the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors. She is a former member of both the American Bar Association and the State Bar of California.

Prior to commencing her real estate career in 1986, Gloria had a multi-disciplinary career path that included administrative management with CETA Title 1 programs in Orange County, California; experience as a Deputy District Attorney in Stanislaus County (Modesto), California; experience as a litigation associate with the law firm of Burns Jackson Miller Summit & Jacoby on Park Avenue in New York and marketing and consulting experience in the cosmetic, fragrance and fashion industry in Manhattan.

A consistent multi-million dollar producer, Gloria is a seasoned negotiator in luxury and super-luxury real estate. Known for her communication skills, Gloria is the publisher of the newsletter, "Real Estate Views." She founded the firm's "Care and Share" program that contributes to local non-profit organizations.

Gloria's husband, Rick, serves on the Board of Directors for Cakebread Cellars, a prestigious Napa Valley winery. They live in Jamestown.

Maureen Dunn-Packer

Maureen Dunn-Packer

Maureen Dunn-Packer, a Realtor Associate, was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and received a BA degree from Boston College in 1980. Maureen was previously employed for over 15 years in the advertising and accounting departments of the New York Times' publications "Sailing World" and "Cruising World", which are based in Newport, Rhode Island.

Maureen is also a founder, with her family, of the non-profit Ali Dunn Packer Memorial Fund, and the Race Director of the Ali Dunn Packer Memorial Road Race, which is held annually in Jamestown in memory of her daughter, Ali, a student at La Salle Academy who died in an automobile accident when she was 15 years old. Proceeds from this event help to support Rhode Island youth pursue their interests in education, athletics and the fine arts. With the help and generosity of the Jamestown community and other caring individuals, the Fund has awarded over sixty thousand dollars to deserving organizations over the past five years.

Maureen is a member of the Rhode Island State-Wide Multiple Listing Service, the Newport County Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She is also a member of the Rocky Hill Parent-Teacher organization.

She lives in Jamestown with her husband, Rob, and daughter, Caroline. Rob is a familiar face at the East Ferry Marina, where he works at Conanicut Marine Services and Caroline is a student at Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich. Maureen enjoys spending time in Falmouth, Massachusetts where she grew up learning to sail in the summer.

Cort Facteau

Cort Facteau

Cort Facteau is Mansions & Manors resident expert on the East Side of Providence. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bryant College and was involved for many years in the management of residential and commercial rentals as well as renovations of properties for resale through a family-owned business. Cort subsequently founded, operated and sold a successful staffing and permanent placement agency.

Cort is a member of the Newport County Board of Realtors, Rhode Island Association of Realtors, State-Wide Multiple Listing Service and the National Association of Realtors.

Erica Gregg

Erica Gregg

Erica is a seasoned negotiator with an in-depth knowledge of finance derived from 14 years of experience as a transactional attorney practicing in the areas of corporate law and commercial real estate and finance.

Erica grew up in Connecticut, received her B.A. from Colby College in 1992 (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude), where she also played soccer and ice hockey and was a member of the crew team. She received her J.D. from The University of Connecticut School of Law 1995, and subsequently worked for the Hartford, Connecticut firm of Reid and Riege, P.C., and the law firm of Hinckley, Allen & Snyder in Providence, Rhode Island where her practice concentrated in transactional work, including real estate acquisitions, sales and leasing.

From 1999 through 2007, Erica worked as in-house counsel and Assistant Secretary for Textron Financial Corporation in Providence, Rhode Island where she supported the company's commercial and consumer lending divisions. She also worked extensively in the areas of commercial lease transactions, software licensing and maintenance, and corporate compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. She negotiated, drafted documents for and closed deals that ranged from $25,000 to $300 million. She continued to work for Textron as a contract attorney after leaving the company in 2007 to spend time with her two small children, Drew and Cecelia.

Erica combines her passion for real estate, her legal training and extensive negotiating skills to assist her clients with the purchase and sale of real estate in Jamestown, Newport and other areas of Rhode Island.

Erica currently serves on the Board of Directors of Child & Family Services of Newport County, where she is the Chair of the Organizational Quality and Performance Committee and the Taste of Newport Committee. She is also a member of the Jamestown Historical Society and the Rhode Island Bar Association.

Erica lives in Jamestown with her children and husband, Joe Tamburini, who is a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Providence. She enjoys collecting art and antiques and traveling with her family, and has a deep appreciation for historic architecture and preservation.
